Book of Mormon Challenge
President Laney has challenged each of the missionaries to read the Book of Mormon in the next 90 days with a special purpose. He has asked them to do the following:
1. Make a list of the different names and titles for Christ used in the Book of Mormon.
2. Underline the spoken words of Christ.
3. Highlight His attributes and His actions.
He is inviting each of you to also participate in this challenge with the missionaries. This assignment is outlined in chapter five (5) of “Preach My Gospel”.
The original concept and assignment and reading of the Book of Mormon was given by Elder Marion D. Hanks with his missionaries in England. Two of the missionaries serving under Elder Hanks were Jeffrey R. Holland and Quentin L. Cook.
